Access to DocQ features is controlled by means of login credentials (username and password). The process of logging into and out of the platform is quite straightforward.

Head over to your DocQ domain. Typically, this is in the form of your company abbreviation followed by docq.app.
For example, if your company is called xpto, your DocQ instance would be xpto.docq.app.

Here's how it looks like:

Enter your credentials in the Username and Password fields.

Typically, this will be given by a DocQ admin created your user. Otherwise, you may have received a password reset email which will allow you to create a new password, but the username must still come from the admin for security reasons.

To be able to log in, you must have a valid username and password. These are defined when your DocQ user is created.

The password can be defined by the admin when creating a new user, or the admin can opt to leave it up to the new user to define its own password using the link in the received notification email.

If you forgot your password, click in link. Inform your username and click in .
An email to reset your password will be sent to the email address of your DocQ profile.

In case you reach 10 invalid attempts to log in with your username, it will be blocked until you define a new password through the reset password process described above.

After logging into DocQ, you can change your password by editing your profile.

DocQ is quite demanding when it comes to password definitions. Your passwords must follow the guidelines of NIST 800-63B special publication. That is, passwords must contain a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 64 characters, mixing lower and upper case, alphanumeric and special characters.

Note: When redefining a password, you cannot use the same as of your last three passwords in DocQ.

To logout of DocQ, go to the User menu on the top right corner and click in your Username:

Now just click on the Logout button, and you'll be Logout and redirected to the Login Screen again.
